This is a prescription medicine. A prescription is required from your veterinarian before we can supply this product. Please ensure that you have read the “How to Order” page before ordering this item. The original, physical copy of the accompanying prescription will be collected upon delivery.
Clavaseptin 250mg 1 tablet
Amoxicillin (as amoxicillin trihydrate) 200mg
Clavulanic acid (as clavulanate potassium) 50mg
Dogs: For the treatment of gingivitis associated with periodontal infections caused by bacteria susceptible to amoxicillin/clavulanic acid.
Cats: For the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections, such as wounds and abscesses, caused by bacteria susceptible strains of Pasteurella spp., Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp.
The safety of Clavaseptin 250 mg has not been established during pregnancy, lactation and in breeding animals. Laboratory studies in rats have not produced any evidence of teratogenic, foetotoxic or maternotoxic effects.
In case of anaphylaxis, administer epinephrine and/or steroids.
Store between 15°C and 25°C. Keep tablets in their original package, as they are sensitive to moisture.
📌 Why is a prescription required?
Under Singapore law, medications can only be dispensed with a valid prescription issued by an AVS-licensed veterinarian. An invoice, a photo of the medication, or a previous prescription does not qualify as a valid prescription.
A prescription ensures:
✔️ The correct medication and dosage are provided for your pet’s specific condition.
✔️ The medication is safe and appropriate for continued use.
✔️ Compliance with legal requirements to prevent unauthorized dispensing.
We CANNOT dispense medications without a proper prescription, even if your pet has used them before.
Prescription Requirements
The type and quantity of medication must strictly match the details stated on the prescription.
Prescriptions remain valid for one year from the date of issue, unless an earlier expiry date is specified.
Any orders that do not comply—such as sending invoices, medication photos, or outdated prescriptions—will not be processed.
⚠️ Attempting to order medication without a valid prescription may be considered prescription fraud.
