Veterinary advice should be sought for animals that exhibit signs of illness other than diarrhea, including blood-stained faeces or if diarrhea persists after 3 days of treatment with this product.
 
Mavlab Direa tablets can be used as an aid in the management of diarrhoea caused by disorders of osmosis, secretion, permeability or motility, brought about by infectious agents, food poisoning, dietary changes and bacterial overgrowth. 
Direa is not a motility modulator. It is a complexing agent that absorbs toxins but also absorbs water to form a gel. Direa tablets can be used alone or in conjunction with antibiotics and fluid and electrolyte therapy.
