At work, you will : • Provide professional low stress grooming services to our clients' pets according to their specific requirements and preferences. • Perform grooming tasks with precision and care. • Handle pets with patience, kindness, and empathy, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process. • Inspect pets for external signs of infection, parasites, injury and/or disease • Maintain an exceptional standard of proper sanitization of grooming tools and equipment. • Advise pet owners on how they can improve the quality of care for their pets Your skills should include: A love of pets ranks among the top qualities we require for the people we select to grow our team. You must be exceptionally passionate about caring for pets, be unafraid to place their safety before yours, and remain committed to their well-being and care. • Prior working experience in pet grooming • Proven experience as a pet groomer, with a portfolio showcasing your grooming skills and techniques. • In-depth knowledge of different pet breeds, their grooming requirements, and common health issues. • Proficiency in handling grooming tools and equipment safely and effectively. • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners. • Passion for working with animals and a genuine desire to ensure their well-being and happiness. We want you for this role if : • You are confident in grooming companion animals and wish to hone your skills • You have a basic to intermediate understanding of pet care and behaviour • You possess a great passion and love for pets of all ages and temperaments • You are patient, firm, and detail-oriented • You possess good communication and interpersonal skills • Certification or formal training in pet grooming from a recognized institution. • Previous experience working in a pet care facility, grooming salon, or veterinary clinic.

At work, you will : • Provide expert nursing care for pets in need, including administering medicine, dressing wounds, monitoring vital signs, and providing post-operative care. • Ensure pets in your care are fed, and cared for based on instructions left by their owners • Attend client meet and greets, perform house visits and discuss tailored care arrangements for pets • Educate pet owners on proper pet care techniques, medical administration, and post-treatment instructions to promote pet health and well-being. • Keep connected with clients through digital messaging platforms like WhatsApp, ensuring efficient communication and updates. • Monitor pet behaviour and physical condition, identifying any signs of illnesses or discomfort and alerting veterinarians or pet owners as necessary • Manage appointments and travel to pet owners’ homes. Your skills should include : • Firm understanding of pet behaviour • Basic pet grooming, first-aid and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations • Confidence in handling different types of pets, of various temperaments • Administering oral medication, subcutaneous fluids We want you for this role if : • You are dependable, reliable and responsive • You have a basic to intermediate understanding of pet care and pet behaviour • You possess a strong love for pets of all ages and personalities • You are meticulous in your work, keen in your observations and enjoy being on your feet • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • You are quick on your feet and able to handle any emergencies
